Condes de Alberei
Rías Baixas Albariño
Located in the Salnés Valley (Pontevedra), in the heart of the Galician Rías Baixas. Pale lemon with tropicsl fruit and citrus aromas. On the palate flavors of green apple and melon with citrus lime zest. Medium finish ending with fruit and citrus mineral tang.

Jul 8th, 2022This wine is golden in the glass and smells of apricots and flowers. The citrus comes across as a mix of lemon and tangerine. On the palate, it's one of the more sippable Albariños I've tasted from the Rias Baixas region. The acidity is fresh but doesn't rip off one’s tongue. Flavors of Granny Smith apples and Meyer lemons come forward, along with some other fruits that may have been named after people. It's an earthy drink that lasts a while on the finish.

May 16th, 2018Lemon, lime, nectarine, canned fruit, flowers, slate. Classic, inexpensive and decent Albariño. As I usually say, like a good, inexpensive white burg.

Mar 29th, 2018Medium intensity golden yellow. A bit timid on the nose; subtle saline solution and gosenberry aromas, really very pleasant. Good presence upon entrance that increments in power and intensity along its passage. Explodes on the third quarter with bright acidity and intense grip; all in a medium body. Flavors of green olives, and spearmint. Great minerality, with evident sea shell flavors. Excelent finish that lasts at least 8 seconds. Fantastic ability to take on foods. 89 pts. Incredible QPR!
