This wine is exceptional in quality and price; crisp, refreshing and delightful summer drink — 6 years ago
Oh dang I love Dutcher. Take all your dried cherries, raisins and blueberries and stuff them in an oak vat. Then soak into the acid and alcohol. Tannins medium. It is like...I dunno I don’t have a metaphor for this wine except it is a wine to give a hug. As Greg Condes says Zin is the group hug of wine! — 7 years ago
Despite its ripe apricot character it has loads of acidity and minerality to the extent that it reminds me to a very dry Riesling. Truly elegant. €17.95 O'Briens. — 3 years ago
This wine is golden in the glass and smells of apricots and flowers. The citrus comes across as a mix of lemon and tangerine. On the palate, it's one of the more sippable Albariños I've tasted from the Rias Baixas region. The acidity is fresh but doesn't rip off one’s tongue. Flavors of Granny Smith apples and Meyer lemons come forward, along with some other fruits that may have been named after people. It's an earthy drink that lasts a while on the finish. — 6 years ago
