Moderately extracted, purple red in color. Cherry and slightly smoky barrel tar aromas, cherry-berry flavors. More fruit, less barrel please. Good acid, slightly hot, slightly buttery, smoky finish, light skin astringency. Tasty, but for the first jour, at least, not my preferred style of Oregon Pinot. Umami-soy sauce and blackberry flavors emerge after an hour; nice complexity if you have the patience to wait for it.

Cherry, raspberry and something darker on the nose. Raspberries, spices, +acid and integrated tannins. Great balance. Just a lovely pinot.
