Wintricher Großes Herrgott Feinherb Kabinett Riesling 2014

Beautiful fruit. Peach, crisp apple, pollen, hint of slate. Juicy and soft, almost gulpable. So pure tasting. But fruit. The fruit’s the thing. — 2 months ago

My fave wine from him but the portfolio was priced strangely and there was no clear hierarchy so it ended.

Cellar Release Pinot Noir 2015

This is just the Pinot Noir but that choice not available from Delectable. Quite dense in colour. Notes of beetroot and rhubarb on nose and palate. Full lush and delicious. A great discovery from the annual Tasmanian Pinot expo at the Pinot Shop in Launceston which we visited a few months ago. Exceptional QPR at $35. Some savoury aspects - suspect a % of whole bunch. Soft and flavoursome from a good vintage. — 3 months ago
