Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

Tropical fruit, wet wood.

Pale lemon gold color with aromas of bright citrus and tropical fruit with floral notes. On the palate flavors of melon, apple and lemon citrus fruit, some honeysuckle tones with lively acidity. Medium finish ending with fruit, grapefruit citrus, herb baking spice and crisp chalky mineral notes.

Tangerine and melon.

Nothing too exciting. Nose is nice but mouthfeel is tannic. Yeah, tannic.

Bright and zippy. Nice acidity. Tart green apple.

Bright, clear straw color. Aromas of lemon, passion fruit, orange blossom and currants. Some minor synthetic rubber, bright lemon flavors, apricot and minerals.

Peach skin, pear fruit, tree flowers aroma. Same fruit, grapefruit pith flavor, mineral and finishing acidity. Long finish.

Fruity but a bit strong for me.

Lots of citrus and acid. Still don’t love the price point.

Had at Kara’s wine tasting and delicious.
