Sonoma Reserve Russian River Valley Chardonnay

Founded by Frank Woods in 1974 & better known for its prunes, walnuts and dairy farms than for its wine grapes. Pale straw with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with honey and citrus notes. On the palate apple, sweet melon and lemon flavors with gentle vanilla toasty oak. Well balanced on lingering finish ending with a creamy character. Nice value!

Oaky but not overwhelming. Butter popcorn and vanilla notes. Citrus fruit. Not overly impressed for a Chardonnay, was expecting a bolder, fuller taste. #whitewine #chardonnay #californiachardonnay

Gold color. Vanilla nose. Pleasantly classic with tropical fruit oak and butter. Med full. $18 to $15

Delicious! Notes of pear, lots of body! Good value for price!

I know I shouldn’t like this wine as much as I do, but I do.

Easter dinner at Mom’s house 2019. Served with Panini Grill chicken, rice, pita bread, hummus and slash.

So much butter on the nose, my heart melts. Citrusy creamy notes, smells so good. First thing on the palette is lemon, and then vanilla, followed by a clean, smooth buttery taste. I. Love. This. Chardonnay.
