A bit young, full of fruit as expected. Nice Sunday bottle.

Port-like nose but with more scorched earth. Flavors too are like a dry port. Massive. Not a wine that invites another sip. Strangely, it actually tasted pretty good with pizza though.

Maybe it's just the holiday talking, but this is seriously channeling spearmint. Still ruby dark and fairly singing with vigor, it's an everything wine, folks, with super balanced structure and cherry-pomegranate kissed by sassafras. The toast is sweetly integrated, so you don't even hardly notice you're quaffing a mega-wine. πŸ‘―πŸ’–πŸ·

The word hedonistic comes to mind. Deep purple with a ruby rim. Explosive aromatics; raspberry, cherry, chocolate and white pepper attack with the first splash. Dense and full bodied with an expressive array of fruit and spice. Chocolate covered cherries, pomegranate, blackberry compote invade your palate. Velvety textured, harmoniously integrated acid tannin and alcohol glide to a lush finish with kirsch liquor, licorice and a final nuance of black truffle. I WANT more!!!

Thanks for the bottle, @Thomas Epps! Don’t worry, I’m enjoying it with TJ whole Gary drinks his IPA. Cheers and Happy New Year! πŸ₯‚
