Ruby-ish color. Dense. Nice nose. Notes of red fruits, dry brush, dusty earth and some old desk wood. Nice but slightly dry fruit in the mouth. Tannins resolved and mostly integrated. Nice showing.

From the Count's holdings, this did not disappoint. Extremely ripe and youthful. Evolved a bit over the night but this is certainly a ripe, concentrated style of wine.

Deep red. Perfumed aromas and flavors of red and black cherry, cinnamon, mocha, ginger and blood orange. Smooth and multifaceted, with strong licorice notes emerging on the long suave close. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, April 2020)

Dark tawny. Almost opaque. Bright fruit forward nose. Notes of ripe black cherries, flowers, some wood and a little cough syrup. Silky and smooth in the mouth. Lasting finish. Good stuff

Dark tawny with reddish rims. Almost opaque. Nice nose. Notes of black cherries, some black licorice, blueberries pepper, and some dark dry earth. Has a heavy presence in the mouth with structure dominating the modest sweet fruit in the background. I would say drink these up as the fruit is dry and fading, leaving a dry and wispy finish.

Dark fruit. Slightly stinky with notes of tobacco, sour cherry and dark wood. Quite austere but great balance and purity.

This is go to Brunello and first wine in almost two weeks - been a crazy two weeks and glad it is behind me / also recuperating from my first round of golf in a long time

So just closed my eyes sort of to pick tonight and this baby is helping me with my back pain and get me ready for tomorrow’s golf

This is not as good as I remember but still delicious
