Lacking acid. Metallic. Pair with something that will overwhelm it.

Medium ruby with medium intensity of red cherries, forest floor, and raspberries. On the palate it lacked intensity. Medium + acidity, medium to medium - body. Medium finish. Drink now. Unfaulted and of satisfactory quality.

Drinking this outside, hoping not to get dive-bombed by one of the gazillions of cicadas that have emerged. Nose is a little tomato-leafy at first, but some bright cherry candy and zingy limestone emerge with air. Light and crisp in the mouth, with great acids and some crisp cherry fruit. Loads of high-toned stony minerality on the back end. Zingy!

A fresh nose with bright currant that hints at a deeper character upon a reflection. The approach is jubilant and chewy with vibrant currant and stewed Cherry- but the most interesting part of the mid-palate is the juicy and gorgeously-balanced closure that truly performs and closes like s wine far above its price.
its a gem that will only grown in the glass and benefit from a leisurely decant.
#as all great wines do.

Pinot Noir from Sancerre. Yup, that's about it.
