Shiraz is my preferred wine and this one is up there with those I have enjoyed the most. I like the full bodied style with huge character, nothing subtle here and 16.8% alcohol!

A special project wine for the US and China marketplace. This is a 100% Shiraz with a medium-bodied style, ripe and very generous with plenty full flavors of mulberry, ripe blackberry, mocha and hints of blackforrest chocolate cake. It has a noticeable freshness on the palate which and a smooth cocoa powder finish, quite appealing to those who are looking for ready to go Shiraz from Australia.

Wonderfully complex dark red wine. Aroma is spicy, with notes of black pepper, clove, tobacco. Definitely some minerality, like slate, limestone and a touch of brimstone. Very woody but not the cocoa and vanilla more very subtle green woods. Full bodied with balanced sweetness and a strong tannic finish. Had would spag bol. Delicious on its own and with food.

Intense aromas of dark cherry, chocolate and blueberry. Abundant on mulberry flavors, mocha and fresh cut beets, a bit hint of medley jelly, mouthfeel is on the fresh side of dark fruits with solid taste of cacao coating on the back end of the palate. Not overly lingering finish.

Aromas of fruit cake smothered with rum, musk, dark chocolate, and blackberry preserves. The blackberry really comes through on the palate. Nice finish and not as caustic as I feared for these hot climate, high-alcohol Aussie big reds.

Deep ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, blueberry, chocolate, leather, pepper, strawberry, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. Engaging on the nose, with a velvety, plush mouthfeel, and a long, slightly bitter finish. Well-balanced and highly quaffable stuff.
