2018 Vintage - out of a 1/2 bottle (375ml) violet rim restrained currants , black fruits, subtle oak background nice wine but some how a little hollow - still very representative of the variety ,

First glass was outstanding. Subsequent glasses were great, but the first sold me hands down. Great bottle from Chimney Rock.

2010. Opens brawny, even after a good decant. But soon thereafter there appears a wine that is cool, sleek, elegant all the while being powerful, concentrated, and balanced. Seven years in it clings to its primary self, reluctant to age. Tannins are soft and I imagine will only get softer. Long, long finish. This is a special wine.

Getting better as it opens up. All CAB baby. Some tannins but loving it.

The Ganymede is beautiful. An articulated arrangement of bell pepper, menthol, stewed dark fruit and judiciously imparted oak. Tertiary notes of cedar and leather. Little hot on the nose. It could age for another couple of years. Beautiful California Cabernet.

The first Ganymede Vineyard I made. Got to taste it today. Not bad for a rookie.... Love the 05 vintage.
