Very flavorful and good typicity but the phenolic bitterness is borderline off-putting

Clear pale yellow. Notes of melon, white peaches and a little bit of lemon on the nose. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch rich and sweet with meyer lemons, peaches and a touch of minerality. Medium to medium plus bodied. Drink till 2020.

This 2012 vintage Pinot Gris has me enchanted. Under ripe pears, white flowers and a very subtle honey, minerals and a flinty touch. As it comes closer to room temp. I find it showing a much more complex nose. The body shows a nice orange rind, white flowers, honey suckle showing through to the finish. 15% alcohol!

Peach. Citrus peel. Rich mouthfeel. Blend of three vineyards - Ridgecrest, Stoller and Corral Creek. Lovely Pinot Gris.
