The 2020 Brouilly Reverdon has a well-defined nose of blackberry and briary fruit, beautifully defined with underlying graphite scents percolating through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a licorice-tinged entry, then very concentrated with black and blueberry fruit towards the finish and a lick of dark chocolate on the aftertaste. Lovely. (Neal Martin, Vinous, May 2023)

Ruby with aromas of red fruits, spices with herb floral notes. On the palate flavors of tart cherry and red plum with herb cedar notes. Fine soft tannins, lively acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit and smoky earthy spice. Drink now!

Terrific wine, but pretty different from this estate’s Côte de Brouilly cuvées. Extraordinary amounts of juicy, deep purply fruit in the nose. So pure and zingy in the mouth. Nice acids and concentration. Clingy finish. Great value.

This has some real meat on the bones. Ripe plums, black cherries, jerky and blackberry jam on buttered toast. Really satisfies on the palate, with a silky texture and delicate tannins.

Screaming value, year in and year out. Juicy strawberry and fresh roses. Excellent balance of palate weight, acidity and minerality. Delicate structure and pronounced earthiness. This is such a pleasure to drink, especially at this price point. Superb.

One of the finest expressions of gamay in existence. Claude Geoffray's wines are always on point.

2019 vintage. Delicious! Wild strawberry, cranberry, tart cherry, dried rose petal, tree bark, black tea, violet, the faintest of star anise, seems like a little steminess.

This is just a great wine. Brouilly May be my favorite cru, largely for its ‘broodiness’
