2020 vintage. This is the entry level dry white from this famous Sauternes estate. A blend of 54% Sémillon and 46% Sauvignon Blanc. Mostly stainless steel, but 25% aged in barrels (30% new). Pineapple, green apple and flowers. Crisp and bright with some lovely salinity in the finish. Another incredible dry white value in this region most famous for its sweet wines.

A bit of a disappointment, had pretty high expectations to try this wine, but it left us kinda flat. No real aromas and lacking acidity, the structure of the wine was nice but pretty boring. Would not go there again.

A pleasant lemon scented white flower profile from many places and many times. Green apple, grapefruit, honeydew, jasmine. I think there are more interesting wines in this price range.
