This Chateau had more struggles than wins up until the 2005 vintage. With 2005, they made a little magic.
This showed nice, ripe, fruits and beautiful integration along with classic Margaux traits. Again, wanted to write real time notes and it just did not workout.

1970 vintage. Surprisingly good for this perennial underachiever. It is rustic and lacks a bit of concentration, but it improved with decanting and is still very much alive.

Drank 1/18/19 at the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux event in Miami. All wines from the 2016 Vintage.
Tasting pour, no formal notes taken. Most of these wines are very tight, and will require 5-15 years to really come together. Many will likely improve a few points with time.
