Slightly muted. Do not think it is corked, but not as expressive as I hoped and as previous notes indicate.

Grapefruit caramel, orange at the rim. A touch oxygen.

As goth in residence I should alert you that aside from inevitable pheromones it is intellectual wine acumen that revs my motor. Ipso facto if brains turn you on, this Bandol will seduce you with its thoughtful rigor—it has its balance and complexity fine-tuned. Then pure sensual attributes (silky rhubarb/peach Melba joy/is that a bay leaf? And omg perhaps even a hint of allspice) are all guest speakers at the symposium. This wine has deep thoughts but is perky-goth enough to dance til at least 3am. Daylight may be too much though.

Nearly the color of wild-caught sockeye salmon. On the nose, strawberry, spring flowers, and ripe apricot. On the palate, Ranier cherry pith, strawberry, watermelon, and kiwi. A rather substantial body with fabulous texture. Low tannin; medium + acid. The finish is looooong and with a flourish of minerals. Between Pradeaux and Tempier, you can’t chose wrong. Regardless, I want more of this in my life! Drink now or hold until 2025.

Wild caught salmon color, ripe plum flavor, full lingering finish, superb 😋

Rose with no inferiority complex. Pradeaux is rich and exciting. A glowing firecracker. Haribo Cherry gummies - oily, the freshly opened kind. Then classic notes - red ripe strawberries, raspberries, blood orange, Vietnamese cinnamon. Rosemary and thyme sneak right in.

Big, round, a complete circle.

2020 vintage fresh as milk! Strawberry-kiwi accord, tangerine peel, hint of garrigue & spice. Heat on the finish. Pure pleasure and as always with Pradeaux—miles to go.

Empty bottle says it all. My first 2020 bandol rose. Won’t be my last.
