It’s a Pegau. I let this sit over night, and it balanced out nicely. Had it with Indian take out which might of beat up its nuances, but it’s texture carried the meal.

Decanted for 2 hours and paired with steak. Sturdy tannins, red fruit, spice. Great match with the au poivre. Needs red meat.

A nice, easy drinking Côtes du Rhône. Typical red and black fruit, a hint of black pepper, sauvage on the nose. Black fruit with meaty flavors on the palate; good acidity and length; moderate 14 abv. Balanced. A good pairing with a pretty spicy lamb Rogan Josh.
