It’s a Pegau. I let this sit over night, and it balanced out nicely. Had it with Indian take out which might of beat up its nuances, but it’s texture carried the meal.

Decanted for 2 hours and paired with steak. Sturdy tannins, red fruit, spice. Great match with the au poivre. Needs red meat.

[60% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault] Very nice Côtes du Rhône, Mourvèdre gaminess and Syrah structure stand out, easy drinker, nice balance, medium-long finish.
