Absolutely loving this 2015 vintage of Bordeaux whites - they're full of life and bright acidity and ample concentration in fruit. This one stands out a bit from some, it is more green and citric, which I like as well. Aromas of ginger, fresh grass cuttings, lemon peel, white hydrangeas all on the nose. The pallet is zingy, but with a light creamy texture as well - golden pear, Granny Smith apple, underripe grapefruit, white pepper, wet slate, and a touch of lemongrass to the finish. Needs several years but will see a great 10 year life ahead of it. Great stuff from one of the oldest in Pessac Leognan - 12th century!

Lovely white Bordeaux. The Semillon dominated at the beginning, finishing with lemon from the Sauvignon Blanc. Straightforward and nowhere as complex as the Malartic-Lagraviere, but a delicious bottle of wine. The nose had a great citrus and flower aroma.

2018 vintage. Mainly Sauvignon Blanc (75%), but the Sémillon shines through. Ripe pear, exotic fruit and a round mouthfeel go hand in hand with a long, distinctively mineral finish and fresh acidity. Impeccable balance. Terrific value at less than 30 euros.

Glorious. The Semillon is the vessel which carries this wine to greatness. Almost tannic like acidity. Heavy and huge and refined. Cedar and smoke and boxberry. Melon fruit. Rich and lean. More please.

A tad disjointed but there's lots of energy. Should integrate well over the long run.
