2000 vintage. Bretty nose. Lacks concentration, charm, and depth. Not up to Grand Cru Classé standards.

12's are softer early on. Ripe, rich, juicy, blackberries, dark cherries, dark raspberries, high acid, nice florals, rose water, soft minerals & earth, soft leather, dry stones.

Easily my favorite fourth growth. This stuff is so great now but I'd love to have a case and revisit every year for the next decade plus. It is so beautifully made it makes me wonder how other wines cost over $50 and don't even come close to this... I will be buying a case if I can find it

Could use a bit more age as expected. But still very polished and complex. Lots of minerality and forest floor, wet stones and moist clay, extracted as hell, black currant and lead for days. A great bottle for the price point.
