A blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 months in French oak (75% new). Deep vivid red with complex fruit aromas and pepper spice. On the palate, big fruit flavors of blackberry and cherry with cedar, leather and pepper. Fine tannins with great aging potential, smooth and balanced on a lingering finish ending with minerality. Tasting Sample.

A big wine, plenty of grip with a fine tannin finish, I think the core of fruit puts this in balance, very fresh. Should age well

This was very nice! Classic Bordeaux all around. Refined with nice earthy elements. Medium depth and finish. Better values out there, but the tasting group really enjoyed.

Rich, full bodied, and very long on the palette after an hours decant. Dark fruit abounds; tannins we’re fine and we’ll integrated. Still quite young in presentation with decades of life remaining i. This vintage!

I remember liking the 2011 better. Still a nice wine, complex and interesting, but a bit greener and softer/more surface level

Not the best vintage, but a great house. A bit lighter body than some other Lynch-Bages vintages, but still beautifully layered and complex.

A fine Bordeaux of bramble, earth/dust, leather, and herbs. Traditional, delicate, yet enough oomph to pair with Italian fare. Worth a spin.

Dark chocolate, coffee, slightly burnt wood, dark chocolate, black pepper, aromas on the nose. Med body, med acidity, smooth soft fine tannins with smooth lingering finish. Young, soft delicate texture and fine tannins. Approachable texture and fruit with fine tannins.
