Star bright straw gold. Abundant and inviting nose of honeysuckle and honeyed citron. Medium light palate yields layers of orange rind, honeysuckle, dried quince, white pepper (especially on the finish), lime cream, and a host of others. All that flavor added to the medium plus acidity makes for a premier white wine for fine dining. Sturdy enough for medium cheeses or roasted poultry/pork, but with enough finesse for seafood, salads, and lighter fare. Want to experience the upper echelons of white wine without breaking $100? This is your intro. Drink now through 2025.

Wifey’s Thai curry in the background.
Muted nose. What you do get is a whiff of spring, and not much else.
Palate displays lychees, peach and nectarines. These notes are complimented by minerals such as limestone and granite. Lovely sense of urgency on the mid palate, with moderate sweetness brings you back for more. The French have SB’s on lock.

These are good young but, needs 6-10 plus to really shine and show more on the palate.

The nose reveals; melon tropicals, stone fruits, white citrus, beautiful minerality, wet stones, yellow lilies and spring flowers.

The body is thick, rich and just touch waxy. Melon tropicals, pineapple, stone fruits, white citrus, gripping volcanic minerality, white spice, wet stones, yellow lilies and spring flowers. Excellent round acidity and balanced, well polished finish. Picks up 2-4 points with the right bottle age.

Photos of; Chateau Lynch Bages, Branded work shed in the middle of their Estate vines, old oak vats that have been sold or move as their remodel should be done next summer and Estate vines.

Born in 1990, "Blanc de Lynch-Bages" is the fruit of joining the 3 white varietals of Bordeaux appellation, from 8 parcels of Lynch-Bages terroir. Pale lemon-green with aromas of tropical fruits with floral notes. Palate flavors of melon, citrus with sweet spice. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit and floral spice character. Very good!
