What a screaming value! Still very young and for the price you can’t beat it. I should have cases of this

Drank this for my 28th birthday. Spicy with hints of currant. From my private collection. 1996 vintage.

Juicy cooked cherries, pepper on the nose. Refined and balanced, green pepper and cherries on the palate. Nice acidity and finish.

Vintage 2012 / year that is easy accesible, mild smell with impressions of cherries and plums, soft vannilla, a bit sharp taste from bottle but velvety after a few hours in decanter. I like Lanessan because it is reliable. #hautmedoc Partnered with a steak, green asparagus with baked almond shavings.

This is a steal at €11, but it needs time. The lack of vintage ripeness definitely shows as a peppery edge, but it’s firm and well built nonetheless. Good energy and decent concentration. Cherry/red currant fruit, soil, cedar, tobacco. Classic bdx.

Classic aged Bordeaux, deep red fruit mix with leather, pipe smoke, graphite, game, turned earth and gravel. Masculine tannins giving posture, oak has integrated very well.

Complex nose and great balance overall. Drinking well. Surprisingly thick though. Refreshing but could be lighter on its feet.

Super funky on the nose, not much fruit but nice structure and mouthfeel. Need to be drunk.
