Red Bordeaux Blend

Great nose, good structure, but finishing a bit short.

Very complex nose of crushed blackberry, cigar smoke, oak, and brambly spice. Blueberry, crushed black pepper, licorice and big dark fruit as it opens up.. The longer it sits, the more "new world" it becomes.. Very nice value - 95% merlot, 5% cab franc.

Sill young but with penetrating black fruit. Nice focus for Fronsac.

Did not care for this, very sharp ended up dumping the last of it out because we did not care to finish it.

Great Bordeaux - easy drinker. Found at Total Wine.

Substantial QPR #bordeaux, a more extractive style on the nose, dark fruit wave - delicious palate with proportional tartness, grippy but fine-drawn tannins. $14 at #totalwine

Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, plum, strawberry, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; medium-plus tannins; and medium acidity. Firm and fruity on the nose; while structured on the palate with a hint of minerals on the finish. An approachable, everyday Bordeaux. Mostly Merlot with a small amount of Cabernet Franc.

Less dry but heavier

Good wine, would buy again.

Not the best Bordeaux I’ve ever had. A nice, somewhat spicy taste at first, but it quits shortly after.
