Very unique. Strong wine that goes well with a red meat or it could be wonderful with roasted lamb! A lot of personality!

Med+ garnet med nose bramble, rosemary and thyme and a little bit of paint thinner. Licorice. A strangely cloying and dry tannin given the maturity and high alcohol. I felt like it was a Chateauneuf. #lebanonwine #lebanon #gsm

Time for some middle eastern food...

A very nice Lebanese blend of 46% Cinsaut, 21% Sirah, 13% Tempranillo, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Carignan, 4% Mourvedre, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Marselan.
Grapes are grown on an unirrigated clay and limestone soil, in a terraced terrain, and at 1000 meter altitude. In this part of the world, there is no precipitation for about 6 months of the year.

Dark ruby in color with a pinkish rim.

Tart fruits on the nose, but light, with peppercorn, blackberries, blueberries, cherries and currants.

Medium to full bodied with nice legs.

Fruitier on the plate with cherry, strawberry, earth, forest floor and black pepper.
Spicy finish with a little tartness and full green tannins.

Enjoyed it with beef kabobs.

Would be even better in 3-5 years.

14% alcohol by volume.

Crackling fruit freshness, much more than I typically find in the region.
