Deep garnet in the glass. On the nose, juicy red currants, violets, some bell pepper, and pencil shavings. Oak was judiciously used, and the tannin is integrated well. Confirmed on the palate with medium + body, medium acidity, and medium alcohol. Unfaulted of above satisfactory quality.

Plum, spice, smoke, dried herbs and med + tannin. Needs a few more years of aging, but worked well with a ribeye.

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Dark berry aromas and spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with herb spice, grainy tannins, full body on a medium finish ending with overly spicy. Past it’s prime, drink now.

Smooth. A bit tannic for 2011 vintage. But very drinkable. For this part of bordeaux I like. With some air, and with some fatty lamb or ribeye. Perfect

Nice red fruit & berry, bit of cocoa, nice acid, well placed oak, very tannic and bitter on finish... Best have a fatty steak with this one

Good extracted blackberry, cassis, and licorice. Some beef bouillon and beef blood in the mix. Very closed when first opened; Took 3 days under vac to open up. Nice silky mouthfeel.

Delicious. Young and tannic but with the stuffing to last another 10+ years.
