Slow Food. Smooth wine. Bourbon Steak LA. Home Somm
Decanted and aired out the little tight beauty. Only the 2014 but has a lot to keep going Years down road. There is nice primary and secondary notes and flavors. With that low ABV the flowers and fruits and that earthy funk take front and center. — 7 years ago
Super solid central coast Chardonnay. Right on that old world/new world diving line. Super drinkable and enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Heaven in a glass. All the funk and more funk. Absolutely killer. So food friendly. — 7 years ago
2001. Absolutely amazing. One of the greatest wines I've ever tasted. Light and full. Earth and fruit. Acid and tannin. Everything in balance. — 7 years ago
What an absolute stunner. Great on a hot day. Great on a cool night. Just like the Sonoma Coast. Fruit. Minerality. Acid. Mouthfeel. Got it all. — 7 years ago
2013. Still young but showing all its lovely sides after a double decant. Paired nicely with rich mushroom ravioli in brown butter sage sauce. Smooth tannins. Dried flowers and some earthy-ness drive the palate. Super old school classic Barolo. — 7 years ago
2005. Dark. Brooding. Inky. Delicious. Had it opened for two hours to decant and responded greatly. Tannins so mellow and the dark fruit intermingled with all the earthy funk. So so good — 7 years ago
