At this point well into tertiary territory. Woodsy/ forest floor on the nose. Savory umami notes with blackberry and little bit of mushroom on the palate. (Doesn’t sound it, but quite enjoyable).

Dec 18th, 2021Old school Bordeaux, St Emillion Grand Cru. Very taught out of the bottle, but after an hour of decanting was the tannins soften beautifully. In a good drinking window now, but will be enjoyable for years to come.

Classic Bordeaux - heavier tannins.....but with time it is relaxing nicely. Perfect big magnum ordered - I mean you are in NYC! Go big baby.....big wine, big steak, big ballin' - fuhgetaboutit!!
