Pale lemon color with aromas of stone, tropical and citrus fruit with floral and honey oak. On the palate flavors of pear, apple, peach, and lemon curd, slight notes of botrytis with oak wrapped in balanced acidity. Long finish ending with a chalky zesty mineral and bread character. Nice! Will age a bit!

2016 vintage. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. A hot year for white Bordeaux, but still zippy and zesty with a bitter grapefruit finish. I would have loved to see some Sémillon in the blend, but a nice wine anyway

Strange nose that continues to smell like onions despite some floral notes. Mercaptans?

A tasty Sauvignon Blanc from Bordeaux.

Showing citrus, lemons, over ripen green apples, honey and spices.

Light to medium in body with medium acidity and a little buttery.

Nice length on the finish with nice complexity. This 3 year old tastes like an aged French Bordeaux.

A little bitter on the ending for my taste.

100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

87 Points.

$35.

Lemon tart and orange pith and floral notes on the nose. Lemon curd and honey on the dry palate. Bright, but well balanced acidity. Medium body and finish.

This particular bottle was reduced to rubber and virtually undrinkable, although others disliked it less

Normally see their Sauternes dessert offering, so this was really cool to try. Very much true to the Bordeaux Blanc style (based on my limited experience). The nose here was reminiscent of the “super SauvBlancs” that are becoming popular out of Napa/Sonoma...grapefruit rind, crushed limestone but also a soft lemon cream note. Not heavy, nor light, it carried tropical fruits showing a kiss of oak barrel. Thanks @Benjamin Keator .
