Bruised yellow apples, honey, chamomile and a pronounced Stoney minerality. Great balance on the palate with an offensive 15% abv that is well integrated by the intense fruit concentration and carried by a high salivating acidity through a long finish.

Vastly different than the first bottle I had of this. While the first time was disjointed, oaky, reductive, and like wading through sand, this was one was lithe, maritime, and all too pleasant.

I return to this chenin on the regular. Zippy with opening peppery notes that ebb to a layered and perfumed floral element. Dry and high acid just as it should be
