Amazing vin de liqueur from Jura! Great before or after dinner. Much different than Vin de Paille from Jura. Fun stuff! Thanks @Gregory Fulchiero

Uh, this is good. A little boozy, but on the whole compelling and unique. I'd need to try more of these, side by side from different producers, to really get a handle on what this is all about.

Another visit with my fav elixir/appertif A blend of grape must (chard and Savsgnin) plus eau de vie aged for 10 years. A walnut herbal oxidated slightly sweet juice that should be served chilled. One of a kind wonderful.

Banana, walnuts, orange rind and a distinct grappa note. Oddly pleasing.

Weirdly wonderful like so many Jura elixirs. I believe this is a kind of fortified Chard, definitely oxidized. There's the suggestion of pumpkin and the briar patch. A wonderful soft and round aperitif. One of a kind and worth a visit

Like the rose of Port. Wild caught salmon color. Mix of toffee, caramel, strawberries and raw pumpkin on the nose with a hint of raw almond or hazelnut. Strawberries, cinnamon, raw pumpkin, and toffee with a hint of hazelnut on the palate. Quite a bit of heat (its fortified after all) and long finish. Very interesting and unique and difficult to categorize.

So different! I couldn't decide between a Pineau de Charentes or this...and I've never had this.

Agree wholeheartedly with Sam on this one. Smells like a drunk, tastes like a dream. A nice aperitif for the holidays (which is when we drank it).
