Drank 12/16/19. Ok with lamb kebabs. The roasted peppers are not an ideal pairing, but still, an excellent wine.

Classic right bank nose of plums, cassis, with some earth, and black pepper notes. Nice, black fruit on the palate, eith plumb, blackberry, cassis, and tobacco. Medium to firm tannins integrate well with the fruit. Long, dry finish, dominated by black fruit flavors. An excellent wine that displays the richness of the vintage.

4/22/8/4/4 + 50 = 92 pts.

Excellent bargain Bordeaux, filled with licorice flavor. This is great presentation of Merlot, that is deep with brooding dark dried fruit. A great purchase and value.

Young Bordeaux, fresh and fruity but still a drinkable & enjoyable wine. Aging would bring out the layers better but I won't begrudge this one - paired well enough with a seafood pasta
