2012 Château Clinet Pomerol Merlot Cabernet Franc

A bit disjointed. Definitely has more gas in the tank but I don’t see it improving from here. Critics suggest Clinet as a standout in this difficult vintage but most at the table were left wanting. 90% Merlot.

2012 vintage. Nice wine, but a bit lean, could do with a bit more body for the oak, but certainly has many qualities. Good length too.
