Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

2017 vintage. 100% Sémillon. From the Dubordieu family. Not as complex as its stable mate Doisy-Daene, but fine value anyway. The typical "rôti" botrytis aromas, combined with pineapple, honey, and caramel. Good acidity, balancing the sweet dried fruits,roasted pineapple, brown sugar, and caramel flavours. Abv. 13,5%.

Honeyed apricot, pineapple, and a hint of almond on the nose. Honey, pineapple, and pineapple on the palate flavors. Perhaps a touch thin for sauternes, but high quality nonetheless.

A blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc & muscadelle. Aromas of sweet rich stone fruit and citrus notes with floral notes. On the palate peach and apricot flavors with nutty notes. Medium finish ending with a honey character. Nice value. Tasting Sample.

Deep yellow. Sweet fruity apricot raisin honey aroma, rich pear. Comfortable sweetness. Complexity > US similar. CP quite good 19 @3740, Academy D, 240420

NOSE: fresh pineapple, peach, whipped cream, honey, baked apple.

TASTE: beeswax. Tropical and citrus fruit. Simple and a little thin - only OK. 87.

Decent semillon focused sweet, plenty of peachy notes and not too intense

Syrupy, very sweet and thick. Very much like a dessert wine. It's good, but not for drinking volumes. Probably would tastier cold, not sure

Thick and sweet, almost an ice wine

Mango, peach, pineapple, and honey.

Apple honey vanilla to the nose...apple honey vanilla and tropical fruit to the palate. Nice golded color with creamy texture and sweet med finish.
