Worth the experience, absolutely. It’s a great orange wine, it has body. Grapefruit, apple cider, orange peel. The acidity and tannins are strong. I understand the feat this is on Long Island. Great stuff.

Pure, lucid copper-gold. Pear, orange zest on the nose. Clean orchard fruit on the palate with some very slight grapefruit pith. Med to med+ acid. Excellent structure and some notable length. All around terrific bottle.

Get me that orange Channing daughters wine asap. Love this stuff. Candied lemons and melons and apples and maybe some Christmas spices?? If you’re looking for Pinot Grigio, brace yourself.

2011 Channing Daughters Ramato. Deep salmon orange in the glass. Big sweet floral nose. Palate a bit more shy giving honeysuckle and spiced orange. Medium light body, moderate acidity, and a hint of subtle tannins on the short finish.
