Brut Vouvray Chenin Blanc

A blend of three vintages — 2016, 2015, 2014 — aged two years on the lees, and bottled with low dosage. Pretty, delicate and balanced, featuring notes of citrus blossom, wet earth, clay, flint and lots of lime zest, and delivering precise, crisp, piercing acidity. Classic dry Vouvray sparkling. Fresh and clean. Honey. Bubble fades quickly.
Wouldn’t have hated some more RS on this.

Lovely bubbles. Not as many biscuit notes as Champagne but still a little bit of yeast. Mostly pears and lemons. 🍐 🍋

Clean and pleasant, though one-note.

This is a bright l, refreshing but not very complex Vouvray. Apple with a titch of sweetness.
