This 2nd bottle was noticeably nicer than my first taste. There's layers of flavor including a sophisticated peppery note, earthiness and a long smooth finish. #châteauneufdupape delivers!

Nov 24th, 2017This is my first #chateauneufdupape and must admit I was a little bit disappointed. It's a sweeter wine which is what distracted me but it does have soft tannins and pepper spice complexity on the finish. I think aging longer would help and I should try other examples of this AoC.
