This 2nd bottle was noticeably nicer than my first taste. There's layers of flavor including a sophisticated peppery note, earthiness and a long smooth finish. #châteauneufdupape delivers!

Lighter style, not that interesting as other bottles from the region. Short finish.

Had 2010 in November of 2017. Hints of plum and juicy red fruits. Lighter style but I still enjoyed it.

Not very complex, but dry on the finish. I would buy again.

This is my first #chateauneufdupape and must admit I was a little bit disappointed. It's a sweeter wine which is what distracted me but it does have soft tannins and pepper spice complexity on the finish. I think aging longer would help and I should try other examples of this AoC.
