Porrera Priorat Carignane Blend

Unctuous, jammy, but a Med acid backbone to keep you engaged. Cedar and spice box notes, along with cardamom and all spice. Chewy tannins are in balance. A joy to drink with the winter chill

Super dense and port-like. Very fruity, but dark and delicious. This wine would continue to age beautifully. Drinks like velvet, Cindy says.

Really really ripe but unctuous and hard to resist too.

Nice wine. Note 15.1% alcohol. Fruit forward but a bit too concentrated. Port-like overtones. I enjoyed it but many others with me thought too overpowering

Delicious Carignan from @cellervallllach. Elegant, great structure and soft tannins.

Incredibly fresh tasting for a wine of this age. Interesting Priorat blend of Carinena (Carignan-70%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). Complex aromas of fresh herbs, forest floor, wet slate and ripe black fruits. Plum and prune flavors lead the palate with hints of blackberry and dark chocolate. Chewy tannins, harmonious and nicely balanced. Savory, plush and tasting way younger than its age. Brilliant! Thanking Kevin Z. for sharing this bottle.

Bright red fruit, nice acidity. Bold, but not overwhelming.

15.5% but pretty elegant due to age. Llicorella shining through.

Already seems a bit tired...
Cinnamon, orange peel, sundried tomatoes, chocolate and kirsch. Still alive, still a big wine (15.5%), cruising through midlife, but way more impressive and interesting as a youngster.
