Ludovicus Terra Alta Garnacha

Dang, this one is over oxidized, and smells like an aged tawny, not a Grenache. Off you go!
This is a good winery, just an off bottle.

Time to turn on the heaters, whatever you may have..

This is a great wine, and has never wavered from being one that everyone will enjoy, without that cloying and chemical that usually comes with ye olde crowd pleaser.
This is a well made wine, with a nose of animal fat,
This is a medium bodied, pleasant drinker. Calm and precise. Juicy mouth filling fruit, bright, and at the same time lends itself to a darker side of fruit. Light, yet on target, tannins. Low acidity, high Alcohol, yet no heat.
Stay warm.

More restrained than expected. Nice aromatics; cinnamon, vanilla, and cherry. Not too hot. Not too fruity.

Young, funky, brash

Bright and rich cherry and Mexican chili chocolate, lots of spice, both barrel and heatwise but alcohol in check. Call this a crowd pleaser; I call it a me pleaser.

Day 1 it was a huge fruit blast, a real crowd pleaser with dark cherry and chocolate aromas on the nose. Day 2 it fell apart and didn’t offer much. Drink now, wouldn’t hold this much longer

This went down unbelievably smooth. Hint of vanilla and spice and lots of other things that are nice. This tastes a lot more expensive than it is.

Easy drinking. Strawberry on the nose. Tasted strawberry, too, plus plum and rosemary. Not bad. I am missing the acidity though.
