Callie gave me this bottle, which Joris buys in bulk. Didn’t know what to expect from South Africa. Holy moly! Lush, savory, medium bodied, well-integrated tannins. Greatly exceeded my expectations. Wish I could find more of this. — 5 years ago
Lacked personality at first but opened up nicely after an hour in the glass. Understated tannins, somewhat delicate, mostly plum flavored. Paired well with butternut squash soup (curry spices) and mixed green salad. — 5 years ago
Unremarkable. — 5 years ago
Very enjoyable aged Rioja from Kathleen. — 5 years ago
Big, red cherry, jammy but refined. Love this. — 5 years ago
My first nice ($30+) bottle of pinot noir. Nothing short of transcendent. Blueberry and black cherry, fabulously balanced through the mid-palate, finishing on something like ocean spray. I was still tasting it a minute after the first sip. Shared the bottle with Neal, Robyn and Erin, paired chicken parmesan and romaine salad. The best meal of 2019. — 5 years ago
Fine and no complaints, but not particularly memorable. — 5 years ago
Smells fine. Tastes sharp, like someone squeezed a lemon into it. Prefer softer, more concentrated fruit, bigger body. This is distinctive in bad ways. — 5 years ago
Just fine but unmemorable. We had the Land’s Edge right after this and that wine blew this one away. — 5 years ago

Malbec is still not my favorite grape, but this was good, well balanced. Would drink again. — 5 years ago
