Cayuse Vineyards
En Cerise Vineyard Syrah
A little reduced; charred and meaty. Elegant black fruits, forest floor, light cocoa, roast lamb. Beautiful concentration, but not nearly as fresh and lithe as the ‘14 Cailloux, one of my favorite wines ever.

Apr 28th, 2017Wow! Bit of funk on opening and settling out to fruit and a bit of menthol. Cooked fruit, unripe red plum, and black pepper mid- palate. Firm tannins and quite dry. Been wanting to try this vineyard for a while and it did not disappoint!
