Expensive ($60-90ish depending on your location) but worth it. Young at 6 years after harvest, but better the 2nd day. Not even the slightest perceptible flaw, this is a bright sour cherry Barolo that will certainly improve with time in bottle. Changes in the glass over time, this is a balanced traditionally-produced bottle.

Tasted via Coravin as part of Capital Grille's by the glass program. Bright, plenty of energy, red fruits and minerals. Sustains on the palate, decent complexity. Good acidity makes it food friendly.

Tasted from cask at Cavallotto. Nose smells a bit unfinished, but deep with dark fruit and a bit of funk. Smooth with quite strong but relatively well integrated tannins, excellent acid, and a long finish. Would love to try in 5-10 years.

Aromas were pinched by stubborn reduction that remained in the background after hours of exposure to air. Just ok.

Should have had a proper decanter or Waited like 5 years to pop this one. Magnum bottle. Fine grained, long finish, dark fruit, weightless in the mouth. Pleasant but way too young unless you are to decant for a solid 2 hours

🇮🇹 garnet color, aromas of cherry, truffle, tea, tobacco and leather. Great flavors of red fruit, fig with a dry tobacco/leather finish. Thank you @Ryan McGuire
