Great aroma, a touch less body than expected. Fills out nicely after a couple days. Tannins are still firm, but fruit is starting to fade a bit, at least in this bottle.

Bright orange colour, expressive nose of coffee, orange peel, anis, scrub herbs, medium bodied and the harsh Nebbiolo tannins. Good

Expensive ($60-90ish depending on your location) but worth it. Young at 6 years after harvest, but better the 2nd day. Not even the slightest perceptible flaw, this is a bright sour cherry Barolo that will certainly improve with time in bottle. Changes in the glass over time, this is a balanced traditionally-produced bottle.

Tasted via Coravin as part of Capital Grille's by the glass program. Bright, plenty of energy, red fruits and minerals. Sustains on the palate, decent complexity. Good acidity makes it food friendly.

Tasted from cask at Cavallotto. Nose smells a bit unfinished, but deep with dark fruit and a bit of funk. Smooth with quite strong but relatively well integrated tannins, excellent acid, and a long finish. Would love to try in 5-10 years.

I think this is an excellent Barolo/nebbiolo. Relatively light and herbal, light red fruit notes, fine tannins. Interesting that I bought for $75 but it now lists for $95+. Would love to drink more. Paired with a nice sangiovese — a Brunello di Montalcino — and I think this edged that one. RP 96 pts.

Nice Barolo that is drinking well showing cherry, berry fruit, leather, tobacco, spice & crushed rock with many years ahead
