Borgaio Riserva Chianti Classico Sangiovese Merlot

Pretty decent pizza wine.

Dark Ruby color with aromas of black fruit, mostly Sangiovese. On the palate flavors of ripe black fruit with spice and floral notes. Bold tannins, short finish ending with fruit, tobacco and spice. Not a fan! Drink now!

Very smooth and dark

Strong cherry smell, slightly matte, little spice, okay drinking

HF, solid for under 20. Decent 2nd day

Nothing complex but very tasty

Ok. Astringent. Some weird woody notes. I’m sure this is something that Total wine buys by the ton.

So sad...corked wine. Bought from Costco London.
