Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with black currants, black plums, light blackberries, cedar, tobacco, coffee, light herbs, chocolates, black pepper, eucalyptus and light black tea.
Medium plus and body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, spices, licorice, chocolates, coffee, light earth, herbs, tobacco leaf and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford is already drinking beautifully. Nicely balanced and elegant. Powerful and rich. Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel.
Delicious right out of the bottle, and even better with airtime.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Has good potential to become a 95+ point wine.
This Single Vineyard Cabernet is beautifully complex at this young age. Soft and elegant.
Smooth, and good by itself as a sipping wine. Will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in new French oak barrels for 20 months.

Hints of blue fruit, smoke and earthiness on the nose. However, big time tastes of blueberries, plums, slate and cinnamon on the palate explode from the glass. This is a big 21st century Cabernet with lots of grace and elegance but also with a link to old world wines that take time to grow up in the bottle. The tannins are sleek but lingering in the background as if to say try me in 20 or 30 years. This is a fantastic wine.

Lovely!!! Aromas of blueberry and blackberry jam, leather, earth, and smoke. The taste is an explosion of flavors....black pepper, cinnamon, dark fruit. Tannins are very subtle. Fantastic with Christmas dinner!!!!

Perfume and dark fruit jam. Juicy mid palate, light tannin. Nice example of a fruit forward but not over the top Rutherford cab. Age for another couple years.
