Dark ruby/ purple in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of black fruits with cedar, chocolates, spices, herbs and light earth.

Full-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate and very fruity with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, toast, light vanilla, dark chocolates, tobacco, herbs, spices, light earth, black tea and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious 8 year old Cabernet based blend from Napa Valley. Fruit forward with nice complexity. Showing a soft mouthfeel, elegant and rich.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with some air time.

Drinking at its peak now, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.

A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 12% Sangiovese. Aged in (90% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$135.

RP approved, which is to say that it's bigger than I prefer. Still, pretty delicious.

Blackberry, cassis, eucalyptus, licorice, raspberry, mossy earth and oak. Good structure and big, chewy tannins.

What's Sinalunga? This is La Castellana! The dark wine - very dark - has aromas to match. The gorgeous nose wafts up from the glass with so much to offer, you might miss the beautiful black plum and blueberry notes. There’s also a hatful of spice and coffee and mocha and vanilla rising. Oh, and don't forget the tobacco and the little smear of tar that drags it all into savory land. On the palate, big, bold fruit blasts forward in a hail of tannins. Be sure to let it air out a good while and have some big, bold, red meat standing by to give those angry tannins something to work on. The blackberry flavors are most pronounced, but they wear a cedar-tinged cloak which is lined with a rack of spices. This is a steakhouse wine, to be sure. An Italian steakhouse. In the Napa Valley.

This is the Super Tuscan red from 2018. Very strong tannin!!! Needs way more cellar time. Very good pepper and yeasty flavors. Blend of can sav, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Nice fruit and super jammy flavors. One of the darkest ruby wines with tons of colors!

Starts off with smells of tobacco, but strong cherry tobacco comes with the first sip.
