At my first taste, I was amazed at how smooth and well balanced this wine was. Very soft tannins and bright fruit. Taste of strawberry and a hint of the bitter of cherry. Really very enjoyable wine. The cork came apart as we opened the wine so I was concerned that it might have oxidized but not at all. Deep red and purple colors with no hint of brown at the rim of the wine. Pretty good wine, the flavors were softer than the other Coleman wines. The tannins were muted but it balanced with the fruit. 1992 vines produced a less intense wine than I expected. — a month ago
Forward facing fruit of strawberries and melon, light pepper afternotes. It’s missing the tannins to balance this wine out and make it crisp. It has a slightly earthy aftertaste which is nice. It’s well made but not my style. — a month ago
Lots of cherry aroma, black currants and strong tannins. Not so much fruit. — 6 months ago
The 2021 has the tannins that the 2020 was missing. They’re soft but balance out the wine. This vintage has lots of butter flavor from start to finish. Great flavors of cherry and oak. This is a very nice drinking wine. — a month ago
Deep ruby color, soft fruit, nice pepper flavor on the back of the pallet. This is a very good drinking wine but it needs another year or two for the fruit and tannins to come into balance. — a month ago
This is a huge wine and I hate that I opened it. I think it’s going to be awesome in another 10 years. Huge fruit strong tannins and a chalky feel from green tannins. I’m going to buy a case to cellar for later. This is a really big wine and is delicious but too young. — 3 months ago

Big oaky flavor matched with strong tannins. This wine can cellar a few more years. Nice fruit with cherry and strawberry finishes. Nice wine that is pairing well with smoked pork tenderloin. — a month ago
