Dragonfruit and charred citrus, red hots, fir nettles, gaberra daisy, St. John's wort on the scintillating nose. Blood orange and baked lemon, snake venom that turns to talc! Terroir driven Otago, that serves as a reminder to purists!

This I purchased today for $14.99 on sale. Nose is a beautiful red fruit, strawberries, red raspberries, cranberry, a nice bread dough, a little smoke and an earthy component. They palate brings out tart strawberries, tart cranberries, tart plum, and some spice. There is good higher acidity with lower tannin but because of the acidity there is a long finish. A little thinner than I like and it doesn't fill out the mouth like I like. All in all a nice New Zealand Pinot and for the price a great QPR!

2013 vintage: beautiful rose like aromas, finishes ever so slightly short and narrow. Nonetheless, very pretty
