This wine pours a somewhat clear ruby red. It has a nice nose. The fruit is restrained. And after it’s been open for a little bit, the tannins really come through. This is an excellent wine that I got at Costco for $48. I would definitely re-buy it. It went well, although not a perfect match with the seafood linguine I had for my birthday at Mange Bene restaurant. #barolowine #italianwines #piedmontwines #nebbioli #costcowines

This was a purchase from last bottle so I figured I would give it a try. Darker color than expected. Nice taste longer than I like taste. But overall very good. Look forward to purchasing more Barolo from this vineyard.

Cherry cobbler, floral perfume, with the slightest tar undertones. Cherries, tart raspberry, rose pedal, tobacco, and mushroom jump out on the palate, which is much more lively than the nose. Excellent length with chalky red fruits lingering. Modern style. Single vineyard from La Morra cru. Drink or hold.

10 bottle years were sufficient to soften the 100% Nebbiolo in the 2010 Barolo Fossato from Cascina Adelaide. Medium bodied, earthy, cherries and comes perfectly together with some cheese.
