Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Impressive.

Great structure to this wine. That's about all I can remember from last night other than I liked it!

Has this soft and rich feel both on the nose and palate. Tannins are so balanced among the wet gobs of pure black fruit.

I didn't know that the fruit that doesn't make it in to Lokoya (which I've yet to try!) makes it in to this wine. This, alongside Revana and Roy, were the best wines of the night. No hard edges here, but still worthy of 10+ years away. Blackberry, truffle and vanilla made this wine scream for attention.

12' Cardinale Estate.

Red cherry and fruit. M- acid. M+ body, intensity and tannin. Black and blue fruit. Long finish. Still young. Needs a little more time.
