Colle Gaio The Old White Malvasia del Lazio

Super interesting Italian white. Reminds me of white Bordeaux. Yellow plum, wax been, honeysuckle. Ready to drink!

The nose and palate are interesting but not quite enough energy to really make it exciting.

Light to medium gold in the glass, this wine smells of wet chalkboard pomelo pith, and bee pollen. In the mouth, tart bee pollen and citrus pith mix with crushed stones chamomile and a touch of yeastiness. Gorgeous acidity and great length.

Hazel nuts, savory. Need to buy more of this!

Incredibly youthful and fresh for a 20 year old wine. Light to medium gold. Textured and long. Dried apricots and chamomile. Maialino always serving up the raddest lineup.
