Lovely incense/black cherry nose with plenty of umami action. In the mouth this is pretty compact and un compelling but with promise. Strike a pose (hold)

Cherry, black licorice, lots of tannin that lingers

Damn this Montalcino was absolutely god damn superb. Underrated wines in this region. Simply amazing.

This hit the spot. Ripe color. Low concentration. Light nose. Very refreshing. Low tannins. Short finish. Enjoying with beef ribeye!
